Remember Remember the 5th of November

Well over here in Little Old England November 5th is Bonfire night. Tonight D was out in Manchester watching some bands so N and I went to the local pub owned by D's Auntie and Uncle to watch the fire and the fireworks. N seemed to like the fire and kept telling me it was "hot", there was also a band playing and he absolutely LOVED dancing to their music. The fireworks however were a different story he was scared by the big bangs and after a while started to say "All Gone"...or as he says "Aaaaaaaaal Goo" and "Ta Ta" so I'm guessing he wanted no more to do with them, but if I told him "not all gone; more" he'd hide against my chest and once he's heard the bang lift his head and say "aaaaaaaaaal goo" again. :)

This morning/afternoon, D, N and I all went Christmas shopping and had a very productive trip :) I'm so looking forward to Christmas!

Been a while!!

Well since my last post I've had a little boy, he's now 16 months old and his name is N. and DF and I are planning a wedding for March 2011, after which we'll TTC baby number 2 :)

Hello

Well I'm kinda new to this but absolutely hooked on reading everyone elses blogs. I can't guarantee that what I write will be in any way interesting or entertaining. I'll start by introducing myself shall I... I'm Katy, I'm from England and live in Leeds :o), I'm currently at University studying Childhood and Youth for some sort of career working with children and young people, I'm also engaged to be married sometime in Summer 2009 if we are ever organised enough to book something. Would absolutely love my own house but at the moment can't afford the house prices in the area we want. I'm also losing weight with Weight Watchers...so far I've lost 16lbs in 8 weeks :o). I'll be chief bridesmaid at my sister's wedding in July which should be fun. I'm a bit strange to say the least. I LOVE building, decorating and furnishing 1:12th scale dolls houses...it is my passion. Sorta thinking I'd like to be an interior designer sometime in the future but that'll probably never happen. Keep checking back for updates on the random goings on in my life.
